Start at the White Sands Visitor Center located at 19955 US-70, White Sands, NM 88002. From the Visitor Center, head east on US-70 for about 0.5 miles. You will see a sign for the White Sands Missile Range. Continue walking along the shoulder of the road, and in approximately 1 mile, you will reach the entrance to the area. You may need to follow the road signs towards the White Sands Missile Range. Once you arrive at the main entrance, continue for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Rock Island Avenue. Walk along Rock Island Avenue for about 0.2 miles, and you will find White Sands Homes at 1000 Rock Island Ave.

If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the White Sands Visitor Center. Cycle east on US-70 for about 0.5 miles until you reach the White Sands Missile Range entrance. Once you enter, continue straight for about 1 mile, following the road signs. After reaching the fork, take the right onto Rock Island Avenue. Pedal down Rock Island Avenue for approximately 0.2 miles. White Sands Homes will be located at 1000 Rock Island Ave on your left.
