Starting from the Albany Train Station, exit the station and head southeast on Broadway towards the intersection with Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Washington Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by the New York State Capitol on your left. Continue walking until you reach Willett Street. Turn right onto Willett Street, and Washington Park will be on your left at 35 Willett St. The park entrance is clearly marked.

From the Empire State Plaza, locate the nearest bus stop (usually on State Street). Take the CDTA bus #10 towards Albany International Airport. After 3 stops, get off at the Willett Street stop. Once you exit the bus, walk a short distance down Willett Street, and you will arrive at Washington Park, located at 35 Willett St. The park entrance will be right in front of you.
