The New York State Capitol will be on your left at the intersection of State Street and Washington Avenue. Look for the large, ornate building with the distinctive red roofs and impressive architecture.

    If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch the CDTA Bus Line 5 or Line 10 from any nearby bus stop in Downtown Albany. Board the bus heading towards the Albany Medical Center. It will take around 5-7 minutes to reach the stop at State Street and Washington Avenue. Once you get off, the New York State Capitol is just across the street. A single ride fare is $1.75.
