Car
If you are driving, you can approach the George Washington Bridge via the George Washington Bridge Approach Road. Make sure to check for traffic updates as this area can get congested. If you are coming from Manhattan, take the Henry Hudson Parkway northbound. Continue until you reach the bridge entrance. There is a toll for crossing the bridge into New Jersey, which is $16 cash or $12.50 with an EZ Pass. The bridge is located at George Washington Brg, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.

Public Transportation - Bus
From various locations in Manhattan, you can take a NJ Transit bus that goes to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. The most common routes include the 186, 187, and 188 buses from Port Authority Bus Terminal. Tickets can be purchased at the terminal or on the bus; a one-way fare is approximately $4.50. The bus will drop you off directly at the terminal, which is just a short walk from the bridge.

Public Transportation - Subway and Bus
You can also take the subway to the last stop on the A line, which is the 175th Street station in Washington Heights. From there, transfer to the MTA bus M4, M98, or M100 that will take you to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. The subway fare is $2.75, and the bus fare is the same or can be paid with a MetroCard.
