Public Transit
From downtown Buffalo, head to the nearest Metro Rail station, which is the 'Seneca Station.' Take the Metro Rail towards 'University' and ride until you reach 'Lafayette Square Station.' From Lafayette Square, transfer to the NFTA bus #40 (Niagara Falls Blvd) at the bus stop near the station exit. This bus will take you towards the Niagara Falls area. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at 'Niagara Falls State Park.' From there, you can catch the 'Niagara-on-the-Lake Shuttle' which operates seasonally and will take you directly to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Once you arrive in the town, Fort George is located at 51 Queen's Parade, a short walk from the shuttle drop-off point.

If you are staying in Niagara-on-the-Lake, you can easily walk to Fort George. Start at the main street in town, Queen Street. Head south towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach Queen's Parade. Turn left on Queen's Parade and follow the road until you reach Fort George. The historic site is well-signposted and you should see it from a distance as you approach.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Start from the downtown area and head towards the waterfront along the scenic Niagara Parkway. Follow the parkway north, which will lead you directly to Fort George. The ride is approximately 3 kilometers and is mostly flat, making it a pleasant and easy trip.
