Public Bus
From downtown Buffalo, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the NFTA Metro Bus Route 5 (Elmwood Avenue) at the stop on Main Street near the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library. Board the bus heading north. You'll need to pay a fare of $2.00 (exact change required). Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at Elmwood Avenue & Delaware Avenue. From there, walk east on Delaware Avenue for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Delaware Park, located at 84 Parkside Ave.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start from the downtown area, such as from the Buffalo City Hall. Head north on Main Street towards Allen Street, and then turn left onto Allen Street. Continue walking until you reach Elmwood Avenue. Turn right onto Elmwood Avenue and walk for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Delaware Avenue. Continue on Elmwood Avenue until you reach Delaware Park at 84 Parkside Ave. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, so be prepared with comfortable walking shoes.
Bicycle
If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one from a local bike-sharing service. Starting from downtown, head towards the waterfront and follow the bike lanes north along Elmwood Avenue. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to park your bike at designated bike racks near Delaware Park when you arrive.
