Walking
If you are starting from the central part of Downtown Buffalo, head east on Main Street. You will walk past several shops and eateries. Continue walking for about 5-10 minutes until you reach the intersection of Main Street and Lafayette Square. The park will be directly on your left at 415 Main St. You can easily spot the green space and beautiful city views.
Public Transit
For those near a bus stop, you can take the NFTA Metro Bus Route 5 (Main Street) towards the Theatre District. Board the bus at any stop along Main Street. Alight at the stop nearest to Lafayette Square, which is typically at the intersection of Main and Genesee Streets. From there, it's a short walk (about 2 minutes) to reach the park entrance at 415 Main St. Please check the NFTA website for any fare details; a single-ride ticket costs $2.00.
