Car
If you're traveling by car, start from any location in Greater Niagara and head towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to cross into Canada. Once you cross the bridge, follow the signs for the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) towards Niagara-on-the-Lake. Take Exit 38 for Niagara-on-the-Lake and continue on Niagara Stone Road (Regional Road 55). Keep following the road until you reach Niagara-on-the-Lake. Turn onto Queen's Parade, and you will find Fort George National Historic Site at 51 Queen's Parade. Note that there may be a small toll fee for crossing the bridge, typically around $4.00 CAD for passenger vehicles.

For those relying on public transportation, you can take a bus from the Greater Niagara region to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Start by taking the Niagara Falls Transit bus to the Niagara Falls Bus Terminal. From there, transfer to the Niagara-on-the-Lake Transit bus (Route 1) which will take you directly to the town. The bus will drop you off at the main stop in Niagara-on-the-Lake. From the bus stop, it is a short 15-minute walk to Fort George. Head east on Mississauga Street, then turn left onto Queen's Parade to reach the fort. Be sure to check the current bus schedules and fares as they may vary.
