Continue on US-209 N and then turn right onto NY-32 N. After approximately 5 miles, turn left onto River Rd. The preserve will be on your right. Free parking is available at the site.

To reach Esopus Meadows Preserve via public transportation, take the Metro-North Railroad from Grand Central Terminal in NYC to the Poughkeepsie station. From Poughkeepsie, you can take the Ulster County Area Transit (UCAT) bus route 2 towards Kingston. Get off at the stop at the intersection of NY-32 and River Rd. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the preserve. Make sure to check the latest bus schedule for times and routes, as they may vary. The bus fare is around $2.00.
