You will see the entrance to Walkway Over the Hudson State Park on your right, just after you pass the intersection with Main Street. There is parking available at the nearby lot.

Once you arrive at Poughkeepsie Station, exit and head to the bus stop located directly outside the station. You can catch the Dutchess County Public Transit bus route '6' that goes towards the Walkway Over the Hudson. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop at Parker Avenue. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to the entrance of Walkway Over the Hudson, which will be on your left.
