    If you're driving to West Point Foundry Preserve, start from wherever you are in the Hudson Valley. Use GPS or a navigation app and enter the address: 80 Kemble Ave, Cold Spring, NY 10516. Follow the signs for Route 9 and take the exit toward Cold Spring. Once in Cold Spring, look for Kemble Ave and turn into the street. The preserve will be on your right. There is no parking fee, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.

    Take the Metro-North Railroad from your location to the Cold Spring station. This line runs from Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once you arrive at Cold Spring station, exit the platform and turn right onto Main St. Walk approximately 0.3 miles until you reach Kemble Ave. Turn left on Kemble Ave and continue walking for about half a mile until you reach West Point Foundry Preserve. The total walking distance is about 0.6 miles from the train station, and the train fare will vary depending on your starting point.

    Check for local bus services that connect you to Cold Spring. Depending on your starting location, you may take a bus to the Cold Spring area.
