Getting There

  • Walking

    From Hudson, head south on Warren Street towards 2nd Street. Turn left onto 2nd Street and continue until you reach Green Street. Turn right on Green Street and walk towards the Hudson River. When you reach the riverfront, follow the walking path south until you reach the Amtrak Station. From there, you can take the Amtrak train towards Poughkeepsie. Get off at the Germantown station. Upon exiting the station, head north on Route 9G (which is Clermont Avenue) and walk approximately 1 mile until you reach Clermont State Historic Site, located at 1 Clermont Ave, Germantown, NY 12526.

  • Bicycle

    Start at the Hudson Riverfront Park. From there, take the bike path south along the river until you reach the intersection with Route 9G. Turn left onto Route 9G and bike north for about 3 miles. You'll find Clermont State Historic Site on your left at 1 Clermont Ave, Germantown, NY 12526. Make sure to use caution as Route 9G is a busy road.

    From Hudson, head to the Hudson Amtrak Station. Purchase a ticket for the train heading south towards Poughkeepsie. The train ride will take approximately 15 minutes.
