Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Downtown Ithaca, head south on Tioga Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lake Street. Turn left onto Lake Street. You will see signage for Ithaca Falls Natural Area as you approach. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the entrance to Ithaca Falls Natural Area, which is located at Lake Street, Ithaca, NY 14850. The falls are visible from various points within the area.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  Locate the nearest bus stop in Downtown Ithaca, such as the one on the corner of Tioga and Seneca Streets. Board the TCAT bus route that heads towards the Falls (check the TCAT schedule for specific routes and times). The fare is typically around $1.50 for a single ride. After approximately 10-15 minutes, disembark at the stop closest to Lake Street. From there, you can walk the remaining distance of about 0.2 miles to Ithaca Falls Natural Area.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can rent one from a local bike shop or use a bike-sharing service available in Downtown Ithaca.
