Train

Once you arrive at Penn Station, transfer to the Metro-North Railroad. Board the New Haven Line train towards Bridgeport. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at Bridgeport Station, exit the station and walk south on Main Street for about 15 minutes. The Barnum Museum will be on your left at 820 Main St.
Bus

From various locations in Long Island, you can take a Suffolk County Transit or Nassau Inter-County Express bus to the nearest LIRR station. Upon reaching the station, take the LIRR train to Penn Station in Manhattan. After arriving at Penn Station, switch to the Metro-North Railroad and take the New Haven Line train towards Bridgeport. The train ride will take around 2 hours. After getting off at Bridgeport Station, walk south on Main Street for approximately 15 minutes to reach The Barnum Museum at 820 Main St.
Ferry and Train

From the North Shore of Long Island, take the Port Jefferson Ferry to Bridgeport. Once you disembark in Bridgeport, head to the Bridgeport bus terminal. From there, you can either take a local bus or walk south on Main Street for about 15 minutes to reach The Barnum Museum at 820 Main St.
