If you are starting from Montauk Village, head east on Main Street towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with South Elmwood Avenue. Turn left onto South Elmwood Avenue and walk until you reach the end of the street. You will come to a path leading to the beach. Follow this path to Gin Beach.

From Montauk Village, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head south on Main Street and take a right onto South Elmwood Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the beach path. You can ride along the coast towards Gin Beach, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the village.

From Montauk Village, take the Suffolk County Transit bus (line 10 or 11) that heads to the beaches. Ask the driver to let you off at the Gin Beach stop. Once you get off the bus, follow the short walking path directly to the beach.
