From the center of Montauk, start at the Montauk Train Station located at 465 East Lake Drive. Exit the station and head south on East Lake Drive towards Montauk Harbor. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Old Montauk Highway. Turn right onto Old Montauk Highway. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles. Hither Hills State Park will be on your left at 164 Old Montauk Hwy.
