From the center of Montauk, head to the Montauk Bus Terminal located at 20 S Elmwood Ave. Take the Suffolk County Transit Bus Route 10, towards Greenport. The bus runs regularly throughout the day. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the East Marion stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the Orient Point Ferry terminal. Follow the signs to Main Road (NY-25) and walk east until you reach 41270 Main Rd, Orient, NY 11957.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Montauk. Start at the Montauk Point Lighthouse and head west on NY-27 (Montauk Highway).
