Walking
If you are starting from the center of Montauk, head south on Main Street towards the beach. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Montauk Highway (NY-27). Cross the highway carefully to the south side. After crossing, turn left and walk east along Montauk Highway. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs indicating Ditch Plains Beach. Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach Ditch Plains Road on your right. Turn onto Ditch Plains Road and walk straight for approximately 0.5 miles. You will see the beach entrance on your left side.
