Getting There

  • Subway

    Take the subway to 14th St & 8th Ave station. If you're coming from Times Square, board the A, C, or E train at 42nd St - Port Authority and head downtown. If you're starting from Central Park, take the A, B, C, D, or 1 train from 59th St - Columbus Circle station downtown to 14th St. Once you arrive at 14th St & 8th Ave, exit the subway station and walk west towards the intersection with 10th Ave. The High Line entrance will be on the west side of 10th Ave near 14th St.

  • Bus

    Catch the M20 bus at your nearest bus stop. If you're near the West Village, board the M20 heading north towards 14th St & 8th Ave. Get off at the 14th St & 8th Ave stop. From there, walk west towards 10th Ave, and you will find the entrance to The High Line at the corner of 14th St and 10th Ave.

    If you're in the Chelsea area, you can simply walk to The High Line. Start at the corner of 10th Ave and 14th St. From there, head north along 10th Ave until you reach the entrance to The High Line, which is located at the intersection of 14th St. You can enjoy the sights of the neighborhood as you make your way there.

    If you prefer biking, rent a Citi Bike from one of the many stations in Manhattan. Head towards 14th St and 10th Ave. There are bike lanes along most of the route.
