If you are starting from the Poughkeepsie Train Station, exit the station and head southeast on Main Street. Continue for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and walk for approximately 0.4 miles. You will see the entrance to the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park on your right. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to the Hudson Bridge Walking Elevator, which will be located at the eastern end of the walkway.
