Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Poughkeepsie Train Station, exit the station and head southwest on Main Street. Walk along Main Street for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with South Hamilton Street. Turn left onto South Hamilton Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with South Road (Route 9). Cross over to South Road and continue walking north for about 1 mile. Locust Grove Estate will be on your left at 2683 South Road.

    From the Poughkeepsie Train Station, take the Dutchess County Public Transit bus #8 towards Wappingers Falls. Board the bus at the station and ride for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop at South Road (Route 9) and walk south on South Road for approximately 0.5 miles. Locust Grove Estate will be on your right at 2683 South Road.
