Getting There

• Subway

  From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station located at 1 Hudson St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Take the Hudson Line train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride along the Hudson River. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 125th Street station in Manhattan. Exit the station and head east to the intersection of 125th Street and Riverside Drive. From there, walk south along Riverside Drive for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the General Grant National Memorial located at W 122nd St & Riverside Dr.

• Bus

  Begin your journey at the Yonkers bus terminal at 5 Main St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Board the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the stop at 125th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. From the bus stop, walk east along 125th Street to Riverside Drive, then head south for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the General Grant National Memorial located at W 122nd St & Riverside Dr.

• Walking

  If you're in central Yonkers, you can walk to the General Grant National Memorial. Start at the Yonkers Public Library located at 1500 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10710. Head west towards the Hudson River by walking down Central Park Avenue and then turning right onto Warburton Ave. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront, then walk south along the riverfront path. Follow the river until you reach the 125th Street intersection. Turn east on 125th Street, and within 5 minutes of walking, you'll arrive at the memorial at W 122nd St & Riverside Dr.
