Bus
From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Train Station located at 1 Alexander St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Board the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Disembark at the Harlem-125th St station. From there, transfer to the MTA Bus Bx19 towards Brooklyn. Ride the bus until you reach Eastern Parkway. Mount Prospect Park will be a short walk away.

Make your way to the Yonkers Train Station and take the Metro-North Railroad train to Grand Central Terminal. Once at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and catch the 4 train towards Crown Heights-Utica Avenue. Get off at the Franklin Avenue station, then transfer to the S train (Shuttle) to Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum. From the station, head east on Eastern Parkway for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Mount Prospect Park.

If you are near the Yonkers waterfront, begin at the Hudson River Museum located at 511 Warburton Ave, Yonkers, NY 10701. Walk east along Warburton Ave towards Main St, then turn south on Main St. Continue to the Yonkers Train Station, where you can catch a train or bus to Brooklyn. If you prefer to walk, it's a longer journey, so consider taking public transport first.
