Walking
Start at the Greenwich Train Station. Exit the station and head south on Railroad Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with East Putnam Ave (Route 1). Cross the street and turn left onto East Putnam Ave. Walk for about 0.3 miles, then turn right onto Greenwich Ave. Continue walking for another 0.2 miles until you reach the bus stop for the Metro-North train service. From here, take the train towards New York City and get off at the 125th Street station in Harlem. Transfer to the A or C subway line heading towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Nostrand Avenue station, then transfer to the B45 bus heading towards the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Get off at the stop on Eastern Parkway. From the bus stop, walk east for a short distance, and you will arrive at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

Public Transport
From the Greenwich Train Station, board a Metro-North train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. After arriving at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 4 or 5 train towards Brooklyn. Disembark at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station. Here, transfer to the B or Q subway line and take the train towards Prospect Park. Get off at the Prospect Park station, then walk east on Flatbush Avenue to reach the Brooklyn Botanic Garden entrance at 990 Washington Ave.
