Getting There

Subway
From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North Station, located at 1-3 Main St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. You will need to get off at the 125th Street station in Manhattan. Once you arrive at 125th Street, transfer to the A or C subway line downtown towards Lower Manhattan. Get off at the 59th Street – Columbus Circle station and transfer to the 1 subway line. Board the 1 train and continue towards South Ferry. Get off at the 14th Street station and transfer to the L train towards Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway. Get off at the 1st Avenue station. From there, walk east on 14th St towards 1st Ave, then turn left onto 1st Ave. Continue walking until you reach Main St, where Blackwell House is located at 500 Main St.

Start at the Yonkers Bus Terminal. Take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. This bus will take you across the Yonkers waterfront and into the Bronx. Once you reach the end of the line, transfer to the MTA Bus #7 towards the East Side. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at 125th St & 2nd Ave. From there, walk to the 125th Street subway station and follow the subway directions provided above to reach the Blackwell House.
