Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, head towards Long Island City, Queens. From Manhattan, take the Queensboro Bridge or the 59th St Bridge (Queensboro Bridge) to Queens. Once on Queens Boulevard, follow signs for I-495 E towards Long Island City. Take the exit for 21st St and follow it until you reach 45th Ave. Turn left onto 45th Ave, and you will find Hunters Point Historic District on your right. Parking may be available on the street, but be mindful of parking regulations.

  • Subway

    To reach Hunters Point Historic District via subway, take the 7 train from Times Square-42nd St station. Get off at the Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave station. Once you exit the station, walk east on 50th Ave towards 45th Ave, then turn right on 45th Ave. The historic district will be ahead. The fare for a subway ride is $2.75.

  • Bus

    If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch the Q102 bus from Astoria or the Q39 from Ridgewood to the 45th Ave stop in Long Island City. From there, it’s just a short walk to the Hunters Point Historic District. The bus fare is also $2.75.
