Getting There

  • Bus

    From the Auckland Central Bus Station, take the 125 bus towards 'Muriwai Beach'. The bus departs regularly, so check the schedule for the latest times. Enjoy the scenic ride as you travel out of the city. After about 50 minutes, get off at the 'Muriwai Beach' stop. Once you arrive, follow the signs towards the beach. From there, walk along Motutara Road until you reach the Muriwai Gannet Colony at 428 Motutara Road. This walk will take about 20 minutes.

    Take the Western Line train from Auckland Britomart to the 'Glen Eden' station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes.
