    To reach the Muriwai Gannet Colony from Auckland City, head to the nearest bus stop and take the 125 bus towards 'Henderson'. Get off at the 'Henderson Bus Station'. From there, transfer to the 154 bus towards 'Muriwai'. Stay on this bus until you arrive at the 'Muriwai Beach' stop. Once you disembark, walk along Motutara Road in the direction of the beach for about 15 minutes. The Gannet Colony will be on your left. Follow the signs to the viewing platform.

    Begin your journey at Britomart Station in Auckland and take the Western Line train towards 'Swanson'. Get off at 'Henderson Station'. From Henderson, exit the station and walk to the bus stop where you can catch the 154 bus towards 'Muriwai'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Muriwai Beach' stop. Walk along Motutara Road for about 15 minutes towards the beach, where you will find the Gannet Colony on your left.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in Auckland. Head west along the Northwestern Cycleway towards West Auckland. Follow the cycle paths until you reach the Muriwai area. It's approximately a 40-minute ride from the city center. Once you arrive in Muriwai, follow Motutara Road to the Gannet Colony, which is about a 10-minute ride from the main beach area. Make sure to watch for signs directing you to the viewing area.
