From there, it's a short 20-minute walk to the lighthouse, following the signs for 'Manukau Heads Lighthouse'.

    If you prefer, after reaching Drury, you can opt to walk the remaining distance to the lighthouse. Head southwest on Great South Road (State Highway 1) until you reach Manukau Heads Road. Turn left onto Manukau Heads Road and continue for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the lighthouse located at 759 Manukau Heads Road. This walk will take about 2 hours, so ensure you have plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes.

    Start by taking a train from Auckland's Britomart Station to 'Papakura' on the Southern Line. Once you arrive at Papakura Station, transfer to the bus route 2 towards 'Drury'.
