Getting There

  • Ferry

    To reach Te Rere on Waiheke Island, begin your journey at the Auckland Ferry Terminal located at 99 Quay Street, Auckland. Head to the terminal and purchase a ticket for the ferry to Waiheke Island. Ferries run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes during the day. The trip takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Waiheke Island Ferry Terminal, you will be greeted by beautiful views of the island.

    Upon disembarking the ferry at the Waiheke Island Ferry Terminal, look for the bus stop located right outside the terminal. Board the bus heading towards Oneroa or Palm Beach and make sure to ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Church Bay Road. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the bus stop closest to 205 Church Bay Road.
