Getting There

  • Ferry

    From Auckland Central, head to the Auckland Ferry Terminal located at 99 Quay Street. Purchase a ticket for a ferry to Waiheke Island. The ferry ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Waiheke Island Ferry Terminal, you will be in Oneroa.

  • Bus

    After disembarking the ferry at the Waiheke Island Ferry Terminal, look for the bus stop located just outside the terminal. Take the Bus Route 1 (Oneroa via Surfdale) towards Oneroa. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Oneroa Village stop.

  • Walking

    From the Oneroa Village bus stop, walk towards the Esplanade. Follow the signs directing you to Blackpool Beach. The beach is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head down the hill towards the beach, and you will arrive at Blackpool Beach, located on The Esplanade.
