From Blenheim, head to the bus stop located at the Blenheim i-SITE Visitor Centre on Charles Street. Take the bus towards Havelock. The bus service typically runs several times a day, so check the schedule for exact times. Once you arrive in Havelock, get off at the Havelock Township stop. From there, it's a short walk to Pier B Havelock Marina. Head east on Havelock Valley Road, then turn right onto the marina area. Follow the signs to Pelorus Mail Boat Ltd.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Blenheim. Start your journey from the center of Blenheim, heading southeast on the Taylor Pass Road. Continue on until you reach SH1. Follow SH1 north until you see signs for Havelock. Turn right onto Havelock Valley Road and follow it all the way to the marina. The ride is scenic and should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
