Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Blenheim, the largest town in Marlborough. Take SH1 North towards Picton. After about 25 kilometers, you will reach the turn-off for Queen Charlotte Drive. Follow the signs to Queen Charlotte Drive and enjoy the scenic coastal views. Continue on Queen Charlotte Drive for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Queen Charlotte Track at the Anakiwa car park. Park your car here (note that parking may have a small fee) and prepare for a short hike. The View Point is about a 30-minute walk from the car park along the Queen Charlotte Track.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, start at the Blenheim bus terminal. Take a bus bound for Picton - several services operate daily, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Picton, you can catch a shuttle service to Anakiwa. The shuttle will take you to the start of the Queen Charlotte Track where you can begin your hike to the View Point. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance, as it may have limited departures. The hike from the trailhead to the View Point will take approximately 30 minutes.
