    Start your journey at the Christchurch Central Bus Exchange located at 37 Lichfield Street. From there, take the blue bus route number 125 towards Northwood. The bus will take you through the city and eventually turn onto Main North Road. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Hussey Road'. It takes approximately 30 minutes. After getting off, walk along Hussey Road for about 5 minutes until you reach Willowbank Wildlife Reserve at 60 Hussey Road.

    If you prefer cycling, start from the city center and head north along the cycle paths. Follow the cycle route that leads you to Main North Road. Once you reach Main North Road, continue heading north until you reach Hussey Road. Turn right onto Hussey Road and cycle for about 1 km. Willowbank Wildlife Reserve will be on your left at 60 Hussey Road. The total cycling distance is approximately 7 km and will take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

    For a scenic walk, you can start from the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. From the gardens, walk towards Park Terrace and follow it until you reach Bealey Avenue. Turn left onto Bealey Avenue and head north until you reach Papanui Road. Cross over to the west side and continue walking until you reach Main North Road. Follow Main North Road towards the north, then turn onto Hussey Road. Walk down Hussey Road for about 1 km. Willowbank Wildlife Reserve is located at 60 Hussey Road. This walk will take approximately 2 hours.
