Walking
If you are starting from the Dunedin city centre, head north on George Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Union Street. At this point, keep walking straight; George Street will take you directly towards Woodhaugh Gardens. The gardens will be located on your left at 1081 George Street. Look for the entrance which is marked and features greenery.

From the Dunedin city centre, walk to the bus stop located at the Octagon (the main square). Catch the bus number 1 or 3, which heads north towards North Dunedin. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the George Street stop, which is near the intersection with Union Street. From there, walk approximately 500 meters north along George Street. The entrance to Woodhaugh Gardens will be on your left at 1081 George Street.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from the city centre. Start on George Street and continue heading north. The journey is about 1.5 kilometers and should take around 10 minutes. Woodhaugh Gardens will be on your left at 1081 George Street. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
