Start at the Octagon, the central hub of Dunedin. From the Octagon, head south on George Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with St. Andrew Street. Turn left onto St. Andrew Street and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto High Street, which will turn into John Wilson Ocean Drive. Follow this road for about 2.5 km until you reach the Sir Leonard Wright Lookout, located at the top of Lawyers Head. The lookout is well signposted and you will see it on your right as you approach.
