From Fox Glacier, head south on State Highway 6 towards Haast. Continue on this road for approximately 25 km. You will see a sign for Fantail Falls. Turn left onto the access road, which is well-marked. The car park for Fantail Falls will be on your left after about 1 km. Parking is free.

Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation to Fantail Falls. However, you can take a bus from Fox Glacier to Haast. Once in Haast, you may need to arrange for a taxi or a shuttle service to get to the Fantail Falls car park, which is about 20 km away from Haast.
