Getting There

    Start from the Gisborne i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 209 Grey Street. Head southeast on Grey Street towards Childers Road, which is a straight path. After a short walk, turn left onto Childers Road. Continue along Childers Road until you reach the intersection with Ormond Road. Cross the road carefully and continue on Childers Road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the SH35 (Auckland Road). Follow this road for approximately 1.5 km. When you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Lytton Road, cross at the pedestrian crossing. Continue straight onto Lytton Road, then turn right onto Mary Street. The Mary Street Reserve is located at 10A Mary Street, on your left side after a short walk.

    From Gisborne city centre, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Grey Street and Gladstone Road. Catch the bus number 12 or 14 heading towards Mangapapa. Stay on the bus until you reach the Mary Street stop. Disembark from the bus and walk a short distance down Mary Street towards the park. Mary Street Reserve is located at 10A Mary Street, just a few steps away from the bus stop.
