Walking
If you are starting from the city center (e.g., from the Invercargill i-SITE Visitor Centre on Dee Street), head south on Dee Street towards Kelvin Street. Continue straight onto Tweed Street. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Stead Street Shar, located at 1 Tweed Street, West Invercargill. The park is on your right side, and you should look for the entrance signage.

From the Invercargill city center, you can take the Southland Regional Bus service. Board a bus heading towards the West Invercargill area. You can get off at the nearest stop to Tweed Street. Once you disembark, walk north along Tweed Street for about 200 meters, and you will find Stead Street Shar at 1 Tweed Street on your left.
