If you are starting from the Invercargill city centre, head south on Esk Street towards Dee Street. Continue walking straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Dee Street. Turn left onto Dee Street and walk for another 300 meters. The Invercargill Cenotaph will be on your left-hand side at 194 Dee Street, Avenal.

From the Invercargill Bus Terminal, catch a bus that heads towards Avenal. You can take Bus Route 1 or Route 2. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the stop nearest to Dee Street. After disembarking, walk down Dee Street towards the south for approximately 300 meters. The Invercargill Cenotaph will be located on your left at 194 Dee Street.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city centre. Start your journey by heading south on Esk Street, then take a left onto Dee Street.
