If you're driving from Blenheim, head west on State Highway 1 towards Picton. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards Queen Charlotte Drive. Continue on Queen Charlotte Drive for about 30 km, enjoying the scenic views. Once you reach Kenepuru Head, look for the signs directing you to the Queen Charlotte Track. Park at the designated area near the track entrance. From the parking area, follow the signs towards Eatwells Lookout. The walk to the lookout is a moderate trek, so wear comfortable shoes.

For those using public transport, take a bus from Blenheim to Picton. The bus service is provided by InterCity or similar operators. Once in Picton, you can catch a local shuttle service that goes to Kenepuru Head. It’s advisable to check the shuttle schedule in advance, as it may only run at certain times. Once you arrive at Kenepuru Head, follow the signs to the Queen Charlotte Track and begin your hike towards Eatwells Lookout. The hike will take about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
