Getting There

• Bus

  Catch a bus from Masterton to Martinborough. Start at the Masterton Bus Terminal located on Chapel Street. Once you arrive at the Martinborough bus stop, you will be within walking distance of the fair.

• Train and Bus Combination

  You can take the train from Masterton to Featherston, which leaves from the Masterton Railway Station. Check the train schedule on the Tranz Metro website. After arriving at Featherston, walk to the Featherston bus stop and catch a bus to Martinborough. The bus ride should take approximately 15 minutes, and once you arrive in Martinborough, follow signs to the fair, which is usually centrally located.

  If you are feeling adventurous, you could walk from Masterton to Martinborough. The distance is around 25 kilometers, and it would take about 5 hours. Start on SH2 from Masterton, heading southeast. Follow the signs to Martinborough. This route has some scenic views of the countryside, but make sure to bring water and snacks, and plan for the journey accordingly.

  Cycling to Martinborough is another great option if you enjoy biking. Start from Masterton and take SH2 southeast towards Martinborough.
