Getting There

• Bus

  Start at the Napier i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located at 100 Marine Parade, Napier. From there, take the Bus route towards Havelock North. You can catch the bus at the nearest bus stop located on Marine Parade. The bus will take you towards Havelock North, and you will want to get off at the stop closest to Te Mata Road. Once you get off, walk towards Te Mata Road and follow it for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Te Mata Estate Winery located at 349 Te Mata Road, Parkvale, Havelock North. The winery will be on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Napier. Start your journey from the Napier waterfront and head down to the Marine Parade. Follow Marine Parade toward the west until you reach the intersection with Hastings Street. Turn left onto Hastings Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Te Mata Road. Turn right onto Te Mata Road and cycle approximately 3 kilometers until you arrive at Te Mata Estate Winery at 349 Te Mata Road, Parkvale, Havelock North. Be mindful of traffic and enjoy the scenic ride through the countryside.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking and want to take in the sights, start from the Napier i-SITE Visitor Information Centre at 100 Marine Parade. Walk west along Marine Parade until you reach the intersection with Hastings Street. Turn left on Hastings Street and continue walking until you reach Te Mata Road. Turn right onto Te Mata Road and proceed on foot for about 3 kilometers until you reach Te Mata Estate Winery at 349 Te Mata Road, Parkvale, Havelock North. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the views along the way.
