Getting There

    From Napier, make your way to the main bus terminal located at 100 Station Street. Look for the bus services that operate towards Havelock North. You can take the 'Havelock North' bus service. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Ask the bus driver to inform you when you reach Havelock North. Once you arrive at the Havelock North bus stop, you will be just a short walk away from the Arataki Honey Visitor Centre.

  • Walking

    After getting off the bus at Havelock North, head south on Havelock Road towards Te Mata Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Te Mata Road. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Arataki Road. Turn right onto Arataki Road, and continue walking for about 500 meters. The Arataki Honey Visitor Centre will be on your left at 66 Arataki Road.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Napier and ride to Havelock North. Start by heading out of Napier towards the scenic cycle paths that lead to Havelock North. Follow the cycle routes which will take you through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach Havelock North, follow the same route as mentioned above. From Havelock North, cycle down Havelock Road, take a right on Te Mata Road, and continue to Arataki Road. The Visitor Centre is located at 66 Arataki Road.
