    If you're coming from Napier, take the Expressway (State Highway 2) towards Hastings. Take the exit towards Havelock North and continue on Havelock Road. Follow the signs to Te Mata Peak, then turn right onto Te Mata Peak Road. Drive straight for around 5 minutes to reach the parking area.

    Take a bus from Napier or Hastings to Havelock North. Once you arrive at Havelock North, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Te Mata Peak, as public transport does not reach the peak directly. Inform the driver to take you to Te Mata Peak Road, which is approximately a 15-minute drive from Havelock North.
