Continue straight onto Rutherford Street. At the intersection, turn right onto Bridge Street. Follow Bridge Street until it becomes Atawhai Drive. Continue along Atawhai Drive for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Founders Heritage Park at 87 Atawhai Drive. The park will be on your left.

From Nelson city centre, walk to the Nelson Bus Station located on Halifax Street. Take the bus route that goes towards Atawhai. The bus operators include Nelson Tasman Public Transport. Get off at the stop closest to Founders Heritage Park, which is typically the stop on Atawhai Drive. From there, it’s a short walk to the entrance of the park at 87 Atawhai Drive.
Bicycle
