    From Nelson city centre, start at the Nelson i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located at 74 Trafalgar Street. Head east on Trafalgar Street towards Hardy Street. Continue straight onto Rutherford Street. At the intersection, turn right onto Bridge Street. Follow Bridge Street until it becomes Atawhai Drive. Continue along Atawhai Drive for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Founders Heritage Park at 87 Atawhai Drive. The park will be on your left.

    From Nelson city centre, walk to the Nelson Bus Station located on Halifax Street. Take the bus route that goes towards Atawhai. The bus operators include Nelson Tasman Public Transport.
