Walking
If you are starting from Nelson city center, head north on Trafalgar Street until you reach the intersection with Hardy Street. Turn left onto Hardy Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Vanguard Street. Turn right onto Vanguard Street and continue until you reach the intersection with the Main Road. Turn left onto Main Road (State Highway 6) and continue for about 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for Nayland Road on your right. Turn right onto Nayland Road, and Broadgreen Historic House will be on your left at 276 Nayland Road. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

From Nelson city center, walk to the nearest bus stop on Trafalgar Street. Catch the bus heading towards Stoke, ensuring it is a route that stops at Nayland Road. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nayland Road stop, disembark and walk approximately 5 minutes back towards Broadgreen Historic House, which is at 276 Nayland Road. Be sure to check the local bus timetable for the latest schedules.
