Turn left onto Hardy Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with The Wood. Turn left onto The Wood Street and walk straight for about 10 minutes. The Miyazu Japanese Garden will be on your right, just before you reach the intersection with Emano Street.

    From Nelson city center, head to the nearest bus stop on Trafalgar Street. Catch the bus that goes to The Wood area. Make sure to check the bus schedule for timings. Once onboard, stay on the bus until you reach the stop closest to The Wood. After getting off, walk along The Wood Street for approximately 5 minutes, and you will find Miyazu Japanese Garden on your left.
