From the central Nelson bus station, take the Bus Route 1 (Nelson to Tāhunanui). The bus departs frequently, so you won’t have to wait long. Remain on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and alight at the 'Tāhunanui Beach' stop. From there, walk towards the beach and follow the coastal path leading to Parkers Cove. Look for signs directing you to the cove; it’s about a 10-minute walk along the waterfront.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Nelson. Start your ride from the city center and head towards the coastal path along the waterfront. Follow the path towards Tāhunanui, which is around 5 kilometers away. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you reach Tāhunanui, continue following the path along the beach until you reach Parkers Cove.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Nelson city center and head towards the waterfront. Follow the signs leading you to Tāhunanui Beach. The distance is about 5 kilometers, and it will take about an hour to walk. Once you arrive at Tāhunanui Beach, continue along the beach path towards Parkers Cove, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
