Walking
If you are starting from the Nelson city center, head south on Trafalgar Street towards Hardy Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street and walk until you reach the end of the street. You will see the entrance to Queen's Gardens on your left. The gardens are well-signposted, and it's a pleasant walk of about 15 minutes.
Public Bus
From the Nelson City Centre, you can take the local bus service. Locate the bus stop on Trafalgar Street near the Nelson i-SITE Visitor Centre. Take the bus number that goes towards 'The Brook' or 'Tahunanui'. Get off at the 'Queen's Gardens' stop, which is a short walk from the gardens. The bus ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you are using a bicycle, head south on Trafalgar Street and follow the bike lanes. Once you reach Bridge Street, turn right and continue until you see the entrance to Queen's Gardens on your left. There are bike racks available near the entrance for secure parking. The ride from the city center should take around 10 minutes.
