If you are starting from the Nelson i-SITE Visitor Information Centre, head out of the building and turn right onto Trafalgar Street. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Hardy Street. Turn left onto Hardy Street. The Nelson City Centre is just a short walk down Hardy Street, about 2 minutes ahead on your right-hand side.

To reach Nelson City Centre via bus, you can catch the Local Link bus from various points around the city. If you are at the Nelson Bus Station, board the Local Link bus heading towards the City Centre. The bus will take you directly to the stop on Hardy Street. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance along Hardy Street, and you will find the City Centre nearby.

If you have rented a bicycle, you can ride to Nelson City Centre. Start from the Nelson waterfront area and follow the cycle path along the waterfront towards the city. Once you reach Trafalgar Street, turn right and continue cycling until you reach Hardy Street. Turn left onto Hardy Street, and the City Centre will be on your right after a few minutes of cycling.
